“Ordinary or Excellent?”

I just love our pastor!:

Thomas Edison once said, “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” To get ahead in this life, we must be willing to work at it. Most successful people will say they did whatever was needed to succeed.

People with a mindset of mediocrity will only do what is necessary to get by. Whether it’s work, church or marriage, mediocrity breeds frustration, not success. The word mediocrity is defined as: “neither very good nor very bad; not good enough or inferior.” But for those people who live this way, they are always upset about the results. It’s interesting to note that no one can really do the work for you.

You’ll have to reap what you sow, so why not sow excellence and to leave behind the victim mentality. We have to live with our attitude. Start today. Turn things around, make a commitment and do the work.

Just a thought, God bless.PSS
